Maria Grazia

Maria Grazia has been working in the fashion industry for more than twenty-five years and has collaborated with numerous high-profile Italian brands such as Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Byblos and Laura Biagiotti, holding various positions both as a designer and as a senior pattern maker.

After earning her diploma and several specializations at the Istituto Secoli, she followed a professional path rich in innovative experiences that allowed her to work alongside top designers and pattern makers, thereby learning the most advanced techniques and the craftsmanship that distinguishes Made in Italy worldwide.

In 2018 Maria Grazia co-founded F-WORKS to make her expertise available to a wider range of clients.

Paola

Pattern maker since 1987, Paola has worked with numerous fashion brands throughout her career.

She has been collaborating with F-WORKS since 2019, bringing her talent, energy, and artistic vision to every project.

With over thirty years of experience alongside top Italian maisons, we blend artisanal skill and cutting‑edge digital design to elevate every piece from concept to collection.

We interpret your collection starting from a sketch or a creative idea. We make the pattern using both manual techniques and digital 2D and 3D design software, with the aim of enhancing the beauty of your garment based on the chosen fabric and your style.

Naturally, we produce patterns both for your sample collection and for your production. Our patterns are distinguished by excellent fit, a fundamental requirement for selling the garment in stores.

We can create patterns and samples for any type of garment and fabric, for women or men: outerwear, dresses, skirts, trousers, shirts, jackets, underwear and swimwear. We have software capable of interfacing with most CAD systems in use.

We design and produce both sample and production runs, including virtual prototyping services, grading, marker making for automatic or manual cutting, industrialization, and pattern optimisation for production.

We collaborate with major fashion houses as well as small ateliers and young designers.

Our Vision

Making fashion more sustainable is an urgent, collective responsibility, and we are committed to doing our part. According to recent United Nations data, the fashion industry generates up to 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions and consumes 215 trillion liters of water annually.

We place design at the heart of waste reduction throughout the production chain, from prototyping to mass production. We use the latest digital technologies to offer 3D prototyping and placement optimization that materially reduce resource usage. 3D prototyping eliminates multiple steps in the creation of first samples and enables fully digital design flows for specific production lines.

We prioritize social sustainability by carefully vetting our suppliers and ensuring garments are produced entirely in Italy with full respect for the people who make them.
